Corporate Entertainment - Client Case Study 1
A recent bespoke event involved 300 guests as part of a major sales conference at a prestigious Midlands venue. The client wanted corporate entertainment with a musical theme and we were asked to turn the concept into reality. We suggested a re-make of the film 'Bugsy'. The client was determined that the whole event was to be kept top secret from company staff.
The event comprised...
- Ten pre-arranged groups of 30 guests
- A rehearsal room for each group
- Ten dance coaches
- Ten singing coaches
- Make up artists
- Costumes, sized and named for each person
- Film crew
- Sound engineers
- Props and four film sets
- Custard pie fight finale with real custard pies
- Roaring 20’s themed awards evening with a premiere of the day’s edited film
- Flapper dancers
- Jazz band

- Secret 12 table casino to be revealed after dinner
- Midnight 'police' raid
A dedicated team was created to coordinate, organise and run the whole event. Led by Senior Account and Event Managers the guests split into their ten teams and after a briefing - and a few looks of horror - the teams quickly got into the spirit of things as their dance coaches helped them choreograph their scenes.
A quick dash to make-up and then on to meet their time slot on one of the four film sets for a final dress rehearsal where our team of cameramen shot their scene.
The ten teams then all came together to shoot the finale - a scene which culminated in a massive custard pie fight.
Guests retired for a quick shower and to dress for dinner which followed the 1920's style with a fully themed room, a jazz band and flapper dancers before the gala premiere of the day's filmimg with oscars for the 'stars'.
The day proved a huge success, testament to the skill, organisation and collaboration of everyone involved. A truly epic example of teamwork at its best...and great corporate entertainment.
Corporate Entertainment - Client Case Study 2
A client wished to entertain a small group of existing and potential major clients at the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
The chosen match was England v Sweden and the event comprised....
- KDM greeted the guests in the VIP private charter departure lounge
- A private jet to Dusseldorf
- Limousine transfer to Cologne stadium
- Official FIFA tickets to the match with full hospitality
- Matchday souvenirs
- Limousine transfer back to Dusseldorf
- Private jet back to the UK
A KDM event team sprang into action and using our contacts quickly pulled together a full package. Whilst we could not guarantee the result of the match our client got the right result - happy existing clients and meetings within the week with his potential clients....and great corporate entertainment.
