Corporate Entertainment Latest Events

That was nice. I’ll have three more please!

November 2011

A recent client was so impressed by a Murder Mystery we provided for them that they promptly booked three more for later the same month.

KDM Murder Mysteries usually take place over dinner, starting as guests are seated and conclude during coffee at the end of the meal. Light-hearted, fun and informal guests typically work in teams to work out ‘who dunnit’!

We have a range of scenarios available and all of our Murder Mystery events are hosted by professional actors, selected for their ability to improvise and entertain. The lead actor takes the role of event manager and co-ordinates the entertainment on the evening to ensure smooth running of the event.

Murder Mysteries are suitable for building teams or entertaining clients making them the perfect choice for corporate entertainment during dinner.

Brand Spanking New Mega Quiz

October 2011

Last Wednesday the KDM sales team swapped the office and telephones for the unit and hand buzzers as we tested the brand spanking new Mega Quiz.

Divided into two teams we took our seats and having been introduced to the event we focused on coming up with team names.

Imaginatively named ‘Team 1’ and ‘Team 2’ we were then guided through the event by our glittering hosts Alan and Garry.

From questions about the Bronte siblings to Roquefort cheese and working out if that photo is of Bruce Willis with hair, the event was hilarious fun!

The new format incorporates both paper based and on-screen rounds, in which teams buzz in their answers using state of the art hand-held keypads. With brand new rounds including the ‘Rogues Gallery’ and ‘Little Kidder’, the event is looking better than ever thanks to the masterful design work by KDM’s very own Graeme.

The Mega Quiz is ideal for after dinner corporate entertainment. For more information and costs on this event (and any others) please give us a call.

Boris the Baby Bat Bombs in on the KDM Team

August 2011

Wikipedia tells us that bats are the only mammals naturally capable of true and sustained flight – but Boris the baby Bat would beg to differ; flying doesn’t come naturally to him at all :(
Boris the baby Bat

He landed on the floor of the M D’s office at KDM’s head office in Trentham sometime on Wednesday night and was found awaiting rescue on Thursday morning by Kevin.  Boris – named following a pretty biased vote comprising a fully inclusive electorate of Accounts Supremo Maria and no-one else – spent the next few hours in a makeshift bat house, carefully constructed by the ever thoughtful Maria. He found comfort in a duster and sipped from a tea spoon until the whole team had to say our final goodbyes when Suzanne, a Bat Carer with the Bat Conservation Society flew in to take him to the Bat Hospital where he will be fed on bugs, taught to fly and be cared for until he is fighting fit when he will be returned to Trentham to play once again with his Bat Mates.

While Boris is recovering, plans for his return are already in motion, as corporate entertainment experts we can’t resist the opportunity to plan a welcome home party – the Bat Man, Robin and Bat Lady costumes are on order, the champagne is on ice … Gotham City here we come!

Sheep seek Corporate Entertainment with KDM!

April 2011

It might have been a long hard day, but to emerge from the office at chucking out time on a busy industrial estate to see mother sheep and her two black lambs entering our yard was a turn up for the books! Cheeky blighters just looked at us and strolled nonchalantly in.

Being public spirited we shut the gate behind them thinking we would entertain them whilst we scratched our heads trying to work out how to find the farmer.

Plan B however quickly had to spring into action as all three of them promptly decided to ignore the weeds we’ve been trying to kill and instead decided to munch our carefully cultivated shrubs. Picky little devils!

Yikes! Now if Meirion and David had been here with the sheep dogs then no worries but instead a bunch of desk jockeys turned quickly into cowhands and, showing the creativity and rapid response for which we are renowned, somehow managed to usher the sheep from the yard onto the street and then ‘direct’ them somehow back into their field. Mint sauce anybody?

It’s not always Corporate Entertainment!

June 2010

Whilst most of our events are for corporate entertainment we also provide activities and entertainment for private parties and weddings – in fact we are providing some informal games for a Premier League football player’s wedding in the summer. Last Saturday was fun though when a local lady passed her fortieth birthday (still looks twenty-five though!) and wanted to celebrate in true Western style. Guests turned up in Stetsons and denim and we dressed the room in the style of a wild west saloon complete with bucking bronco, tin can alley shooting stand and quick draw shooting game to keep everybody busy. It was a great night all round and the lady herself has booked us for her fiftieth!!
