Vintage coaches collected the delegates from the Sheraton Park Lane hotel and whisked them to Harrods where they were warmly welcomed by the famous Harrod’s ‘Green Man’. Waiters lined up to offer the guests a glass of champagne on arrival before being guided through into the Food Halls for a drinks reception in unparalleled surroundings. Guests were free to circulate throughout the meat and fish, and the tea, coffee and chocolate halls whilst sipping champagne and enjoying the exquisite canapés prepared by Harrods own catering team.

 Inside Harrods

After the reception guests were led through the White Hall containing one of the world’s finest perfumeries, the Black Hall full of cosmetics and then up the Egyptian escalators, through the Toy Kingdom for dinner.  Whilst en route guests had the opportunity to purchase anything they saw and any gifts were then wrapped and taken to them at the dinner table. Dinner was served in the sumptuous surroundings of Harrod’s Georgian restaurant. After the awards ceremony, the MC introduced the main act for the night … the Bootleg Beatles!

Bootleg Beatles

Starting the evening with a ‘Beatles Unplugged’ show The Bootleg Beatles wowed the guests with acoustic performances of Beatles classics such as ‘Yesterday’, ‘Blackbird’ and ‘We Can Work It Out’ sounding and looking just like the real Fab Four complete with Sgt. Pepper style suits. After a short break The Bootleg Beatles performed their tribute show starting in The Cavern with classics such as ‘Twist and Shout’ and ‘She Loves You’ before moving though the age of Swinging London complete with several changes of costume and hairstyle finally coming to an end on the rooftop of Apple Records with ‘Get Back’ and ‘Let It Be’.
