A global toy manufacturer holding an international sales meeting approached us for an evening out, a good meal and a hands-on activity to encourage nine guests to work together whilst learning a new skill. We suggested a sumptuous three course meal – little did they know they would be cooking it themselves!

Whilst discussing the initial enquiry we found that there were a few budding chefs attending and so as we have excellent contacts with a beautiful restaurant in Birmingham we used this as the base for their event. Upon arrival they were greeted with a glass of champagne and introduced to their chef for the evening before being taken to the purpose built kitchens.
Whilst the guests thought that they were to watch a three-course cookery demonstration there was of course a twist – they had to prepare their own starter and desert which would then be taken away, cooked in the kitchens and served to them later that evening.
With just a little help from chef some delightful food was created. The preparation done, the guests were take on a tour of the kitchens and wine cellar before sitting down to their own self-prepared exquisite meal.
The feedback received was great:
The Event was excellent and it really made the day. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and they can not express what a wonderfully organised event it was. The event management in the lead up to the event combined with experts on the day made for a brilliant event. Wonderful Restaurant, food to die for, an amazing chef with outstanding knowledge and a really nice touch that Wayne came along. Well Done!!
