Our capital city and one of the world’s great destinations, London is the centre of government and home to the Royal family and is alive with history and culture. The Natural History Museum, Science Museum and the British Museum are here as are many important art galleries including The National Gallery and Tate Modern.
From the London Eye you can see almost the whole of the city of London and the Thames curving away to Greenwich alongside the new developments of Canary Wharf where warehouses make way for offices, eateries and new homes.
At Greenwich you’ll find the Cutty Sark and the Old Royal Observatory, which straddles the meridian line dividing the world into East and West.
For shows and musicals, the West End offers a wide selection of restaurants including the Barbican for classical music, Sadler’s Wells for ballet and film premieres in Leicester Square.
