The second year this client had chosen to work with KDM Events, following the success of a team building event provided for the company earlier in the year. The company required support to plan their first company fun day to be hosted at their offices for employees and their families.
With a modest budget the initial idea was fairground stalls and festival themed décor.
We put together a range of proposals to fit the client’s budget, whilst ensuring it would still give the festival feel they wanted to achieve.
The aim: To host a family fun day, to bring employees together, and to positively impact company culture.
As the event date grew closer, attendance figures had doubled and the client decided to upscale the event to create a larger impact, which included inflatables, food stalls, entertainers such as caricaturists, face painters and more.
To ensure the activities were suitable for the site our Event Managers visit the clients’ offices to create a site plan so that we could turn their space into the vision.
On the day of the event, KDM delivered the activities and managed all suppliers.
The site was decorated with colourful bunting and tepee tents and included traditional fairground games such as a coconut shy, cork gun shooting range, hook-a-duck and large inflatable games such as dart football, giant slide and bouncy castles to accommodate the younger audiences.
Various street food stalls were provided including fish and chips, loaded hot dogs and handmade burgers, topped off with an outdoor bar providing a summer festival themed cocktails and drinks.
This event created a memorable day for the company, one that they hope to repeat in years to come.
