Themed Evening Event – 8 December 2023
The Brief…
Through our collaboration with Restaurant Associates, our partnership expanded to encompass a distinctive venue: the Imperial War Museum London.
This venue presented a myriad of logistical hurdles, transitioning from a public space during the day to a corporate event space in the evening. The stringent time constraints, dictated by the museum’s operating hours, posed significant challenges. Moreover, load-out restrictions were imposed alongside other venue-specific setup limitations.
To tackle these obstacles head-on, a solution was crafted during an extensive 3-hour site visit, involving the client and our technical team.
The resulting strategy incorporated a team of 15 experienced event staff, who meticulously orchestrated staggered staging, sound, lighting, and furniture arrangements to seamlessly align with both the client’s vision and the logistical constraints at hand.
On the event night, KDM navigated the narrow 1.5-hour setup window, resulting in the flawless execution of a remarkable event.
This event serves as testament in our capability to manage intricate logistical challenges and adapt to the distinctive constraints of a venue. Ultimately ensuring the seamless delivery of a memorable corporate gathering at the Imperial War Museum London.
