The Company Party from Heaven and Hell

Normally our valued clients don’t tell us to “Go to Hell!” but for a Christmas party with an ‘eternal’ message this is exactly what they did! Tasked with providing an evening of Corporate Entertainment with a difference our excited client chose a Heaven and Hell theme and with tricky room limitations (and of course budget constraints!), it was our job to make it a reality.

Low smoke effects swirled around the guests’ feet and using our intelligent lighting devil’s horns swept the room whilst guests enjoyed a ‘warm’ welcome in Hell for pre-dinner drinks! Flickering flame lights, gargoyles, tombstones, horned statues and grinning devil’s head silhouette panels provided a backdrop whilst guests gulped shots through a Devil’s Head ice vodka luge!

Luckily, a stay of judgement was announced and as the doors opened to dinner guests entered a heavenly realm complete with milk chocolate fountain! The pearly gates multi-media visual backdrop and grand white throne dominated the room whilst guests enjoyed a sumptuous dinner on tables dressed with angel feathers and giant silver candelabras.

Of course, most people were eager to get back to Hell after dinner where costumed shot girls were encouraging the guests to enjoy a final drink (or three!)  before they lost their souls with our entertainment where they gambled the night away on the casino tables. Those with a more angelic temperament loved the winged pig races (yes, pigs really can fly!) until finally angels and demons joined forces to storm the dance floor until the wee hours of the morning.

Needless to say, the clients had an amazing party and were ‘eternally’ grateful! Special thanks to Jamie and Jo at Hellidon Lakes Hotel and Spa for being our event angels!
