Inspired by the iconic show which takes place in the big white marquee and the growing popularity of the charity coffee morning, Coffee and Cakes will elevate your coffee morning (or afternoon) to the next level. Your colleagues will not believe the goodies have not been bought in from your nearest artisan coffee shop! If the event takes in your workplace you could then sell the coffee and cakes to raise money for a charity of your choice so it is win win for everyone
First the fine art of cupcake decorating; after an introduction and demonstration featuring tips and techniques about basic cake decorating by our in-house ‘chef’, then everyone will given a design guide to create their own collection of cupcakes.
The group then move across to the Barista bar, where after an informative presentation highlighting a brief history of the drink and the finer points of producing and blending the perfect shot of espresso and how to steam milk to the perfect constancy, then this will be put into practice to produce their preferred coffee beverage.
Cupcake Decorating – with a selection of ingredients and equipment such as sugar-crafting tools and steel piping nozzles the group is challenged with designing their very own batch of cupcakes. Instruction will be provided giving examples of designs of varying difficulty and style.
Barista Training – first of all perfect the Espresso by blending their own preferred coffee bean varieties which acts as a base for the many variety and styles of coffee.
