Introduction

Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre offers a unique blend of contemporary rooms for overnight stays and meetings, and character spaces for special events. The hotel’s landscaped gardens and lawns are also ideal for weddings, dining and parties.

Conveniently located less than 3 miles from Birmingham city centre, the hotel offers 185 bedrooms plus 3 serviced apartments, including stylish modern en-suites, executives and accessible rooms in the main hotel, and charming deluxe rooms in our two period buildings. Parking is free for guests, and the hotel is pet-friendly.

Choose a locally-reared steak at the 1900 restaurant, or something lighter from the bar menu. Work out at the gym, then relax over afternoon tea, or enjoy a tipple from the well-stocked gin bar.

Meetings

Edgbaston Park Hotel offers a wide range of flexible options for conferences, meetings, seminars, teambuilding and training.

The main hotel offers a maximum room capacity of 250 seated, two suites which can each be combined for 90 and 140 seated, and a further large meeting room for up to 100. In the hotel’s two period buildings, the Lloyd Room seats 110, while the characterful boardrooms of Garth House seat up to 14.

Wi-Fi is free, and your event coordinator will support you throughout your booking to provide a tailored service. Just contact us for DDRs and to enquire about special offers.

Weddings

Your big day, your way. With stunning photo opportunities in the house and gardens, and space for 100 day and 150 evening guests, Hornton Grange will make your wedding truly special. A charming bridal suite and other deluxe rooms are located just upstairs, and other guests can access a preferential rate at the main hotel. Alternatively, the Fry Suite in the main hotel hosts 200 day and 250 evening guests.

Our wedding packages have been thoughtfully created with excellence and affordability in mind, while giving you the freedom to add personal touches. Your wedding coordinator will work with you, listening closely to you both.

Exclusive Use weddings are available, including private bar, landscaped gardens and six deluxe bedrooms.

For Asian and Caribbean weddings, please allow us to host you, supported by carefully selected catering experts.

Where to find us

Find Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre on Edgbaston Park Road, just a ten-minute drive south of Birmingham city centre.

Located at the University of Birmingham and a short walk from University station, the hotel offers outstanding links to the rest of the UK by road and rail. Birmingham International Airport is also close by with excellent rail connections.

Local attractions include Cadbury World, Edgbaston cricket ground, Winterbourne House and Garden, and of course a vibrant city centre. The second-largest city in the UK, Birmingham has more miles of canal than Venice and is known for its shopping, museums and galleries, and dining that showcases its lively, diverse community.
