Concorde G-BOAC, flagship of the British Airways fleet and aviation legend, takes pride of place inside the purpose-built super hangar. Whilst onsite, impress your delegates with a trip onboard and get a real taste of what it was like to fly faster than a bullet…and in the lap of luxury.

However big or small your event, the venue offers high-quality catering and additional services to make your event an unforgettable experience.

Unique Exhibition & Meeting Facilities

The Hangar offers a unique opportunity to hold your event directly under the wings of the world-famous Concorde. This, coupled with exceptional hospitality, ensures your event will live long in the memory of your guests.

Making an impressive backdrop for any large event, from exhibitions and product launches to conferences and gala dinners, the Hangar provides over 1,600 square metre’s of flexible event space and can hold up to 600 guests.

The Alpha Charlie and Avro suites, (max. capacity 50 and 30 people respectively) are perfect for small meetings and can also be used in conjunction with the Hangar as a breakout spaces. These rooms are equipped with a flip charts, 65” plasma TV’s and WiFi access, and a variety of room layout options are available.

The delicious catering is provided by the Manchester Central team with chefs taking inspiration from across the globe to create an extraordinary culinary experience brought to life using some of the North West’s finest produce.

From ‘grab and go’ bites to sumptuous buffets and decadent fine dining, the venue will work closely with you to tailor a food and hospitality service to fit your exact requirements and exceed all expectations.

The Concorde Conference Centre is located within The Runway Visitor Park near Manchester Airport.

The venue benefits from a wide variety of hotels close by, with something to suit everyone, with agreed preferential rates for venue clients and delegates at a number of these properties.

By car
From the M56, leave at Junction 6 and follow the A538 to Wilmslow. After approximately 500 metres take a left turn down Sunbank Lane. At the T-junction go right onto Wilmslow Old Road and follow the road to the Runway Visitor Park gates.

By train
Manchester Airport train station is less than 3 miles from the Runway Visitor Park. You can take a short taxi ride to the Park from the train station.
