A Treat for the Birthday Boy!

The Brief: To add a fun element to the conference helping new members of the team to integrate whilst energising the group as a whole… Oh and one of the guests will turn 30 on the day and as a birthday treat they wanted to make him do more exercise than anyone else…

you know who your friends are!

The client (thirty members of the marketing team from a world-renowned brewer) was looking for an event with a physical, competitive feel and after discussing a number of options we agreed that the best event to deliver their message would be Krypton Factor.

The client wanted to keep the event a secret from the team and so we arrived incognito (big shades!). Once all the delegates had entered their meeting room we worked quickly to assemble the inflatable assault course for the outdoor element. Then when the meeting broke for lunch we quickly transformed the meeting room for the indoor element including Mental Agility, Intelligence, Observation, Response and General Knowledge rounds.

Scores from the indoor elements were carried forward as guests moved outdoors to compete in a team relay on a gruelling 90′ inflatable assault course with the overall winners being crowned champions of the Krypton Factor.

The feedback:

Just a quick note to thank you for yesterday. We had a great afternoon, Garry and the team were fantastic and the inflatables provided great amusement! And to top it all, I was on the winning team so I couldn’t have asked for more! Please pass on my thanks to the guys and no doubt we’ll be in touch for our next meeting!

… and the birthday boy – exhausted, still made it to the bar!
