With our expert chef on hand with tips and techniques, your group will enjoy this challenge however good (or bad) they are in the kitchen… watch out Prue and Paul!
Teams will work with a professional pastry chef to make a variety of traditional contemporary afternoon tea and bakery items; we will provide cookery books and even some unique recipes used at exclusive hotels such as Dorchester London and the Chewton Glen.
After a short introduction and demonstration, the chef will give the teams a challenge to make a variety of bakery and pastry items. Teams will then go head to head to make, bake and ice a variety of bakery items whilst the clock is ticking, penalties will be given to the undercooked cakes or split custards.
Our expert chef will judge each category such as custards, pastry, cakes and fermented items and reward points for creativity, skill and taste.
