One of our agent partners contacted us to help with their client’s 100th Company Anniversary Celebrations. The idea was to host a Circus/Fairground Themed Event for their employees and families for around 1,000 guests.
We initially had three budgets to work towards and we were asked to provide packages to fit each of the briefs. Each brief had to include a large fairground ride to act as a focal point for the event.
The client wanted us to create a memorable day with lots going on to entertain their guests.
The agent sourced the venue, and it was a large rugby training area. We provided pre-event support by visiting the site with the agent, creating a site plan, and obtaining all supplier H&S and insurance documents.
On the day of the event, we had a team of 20 to set up, deliver the activities and to manage the numerous suppliers.
We decorated the site with festival flags, bunting, and our colourful tepee tents. The all-important Ferris Wheel and Traditional Carousel looked visually stunning amongst the other activities, and they proved to be very popular with the guests. The overall event package provided by KDM also included circus entertainers to provide a spectacular show, followed by workshops to entertain and teach the guests some circus skills. Mix & mingle stilt walkers wandered around the site to greet the guests and to pose for photographs, and a fire performer entertained at the entrance as everyone arrived.
We provided traditional fairground games such as Hook a Duck, Ball in a Clown’s Mouth and Coconut Shy along with inflatables including a Bouncy Castle, Rodeo Bull, Giant Slide, and a Surf Simulator.
To complete the package there was also a Magic Selfie Mirror, Face Painting/Glitter Art, Popcorn, Candyfloss, and Ice Cream.
Finally! No fun day is complete without a bit of friendly competition……we had our inflatable Human Table Football, Tug o War and a 45 minute Inflatable Team Arena Event to end the day.
