Designed in partnership with SolarBuddy, this immersive experience helps bridge the digital divide by providing clean light, device charging and access to opportunity for families living in energy poverty around the world.
As the UK’s exclusive partner of SolarBuddy, KDM Events delivers powerful charity team building events that go far beyond traditional CSR initiatives. Rather than feeling like an add-on, this team build creates an emotional, hands-on connection to the impact participants are making – strengthening teams while creating a legacy that lasts long after the event ends.
Participants are taken on an inspiring journey that places them at the heart of the experience. Working in teams of four to five, guests collaborate to assemble the Bright Future devices, an all-in-one solution for lighting, charging and hands-free use. Each solar light provides up to 50 hours of light and the power hub provides vital USB charging – transforming lives.
The Bright Futures team build contains 1 x Portable Solar Panel, 1 x Multifunction Power Hub (lighting + charging) and 2 x Rechargeable Head Torches.
Along the way, teams gain valuable insight into the realities of energy poverty and the challenges faced by communities without reliable access to electricity. Each participant also has the opportunity to write a personal message of hope, creating a powerful human connection beyond the event itself.
At the conclusion of every programme, all completed devices are donated to children, families and communities worldwide — helping provide safe light, education opportunities and essential access to power. The result is one of the most impactful charity team building activities available today: a hands-on experience that strengthens teamwork, inspires purpose and delivers tangible social change.
