How it works
The event kicks off with a briefing and a short presentation from the recipient charity who will explain how the boards will benefit the young people they support. (You can select your own charity if preferred). Your group will be split into teams and given 2 boards per team – 1 deck is plain and 1 has a templated design. Each team will have access to all the tools and equipment needed to design, decorate and build their boards, including paint pens, skateboard parts and instructions.
During the event, teams can take part in mini-challenges which will allow them to win extra points! These points can be exchanged for specialist art supplies like stencils and sharpies, or we can use them to crown a winning team during the event wrap up.
Finally, attention to detail and the final presentation determine the outcome and who will be crowned the champions! Onboard is a fun and creative charity/ CSR event for your team. After the event, all the boards are quality checked before being distributed to the delighted recipients!
