How the Event Works
The Sleep Pod event begins with a powerful keynote address. Guests gain insight into the realities of homelessness, the challenges faced by people sleeping rough and the vital role charities play in offering frontline support. This introduction sets the tone for the day, grounding the experience in purpose. Participants leave this session with a deeper understanding of the issue and a clear view of the difference they are about to make.
Following the keynote, the hands-on element begins. Delegates are split into small groups of two to three people, encouraging communication, cooperation and problem-solving. Working in these smaller teams strengthens engagement and ensures everyone plays an active role in the build process. It’s practical, focused team building with a shared mission at its heart.
Our experienced facilitators guide participants through every step of the assembly process. Full instructions are provided, along with practical support whenever needed, so no prior experience is required. The atmosphere is energetic, collaborative and purposeful.
Unlike many corporate activities, the impact of these charity team building events doesn’t end when the session finishes. At the conclusion of the event, the completed Sleep Pods are collected and distributed directly to rough sleepers through our extensive charity network. Knowing that the shelters built during the day will be used almost immediately adds a powerful sense of accomplishment and pride for participants.
