This event aimed to immerse guests in the rich tapestry of Welsh culture and traditions across three unforgettable days of festivities. Set against the enchanting backdrop of Cardiff and hosted by Welsh Water, our team embarked on a venue search to find the ideal setting for their 2023 annual conference and President’s dinner.
Following meticulous site visits, we carefully selected The Parkgate Hotel, Cardiff, to host the main conference days, while the majestic Cardiff Castle provided an idyllic setting for the social evening. Finally, the historic Coal Exchange, steeped in heritage, was chosen as the grand venue for the glamorous annual black-tie President’s Dinner.
We provided comprehensive event management for the main conference days and delivered informal yet impactful entertainment for the castle’s social event. The dining room at The Coal Exchange exuded Welsh charm, with subtle nods to the country’s heritage. The decor featured elegant Daffodil floral table centrepieces, Welsh green-hued napkins, and Welsh wooden love spoons as cherished keepsakes for guests.
A Welsh male choir serenaded guests upon entry, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.
Following the awards ceremony, the esteemed Nigel Owens entertained guests with captivating tales from his illustrious career as a Rugby Union referee.
