Rags to Riches is the ultimate fast moving inter-team competition. The stakes are high as teams gamble to become multi-millionaires. Light hearted and great fun, each round provides the opportunity to win or lose a fortune in a frenzy of team activity.
The event follows a series of head-to-head games with teams successively competing against each other. Strategically gambling their wads of complimentary cash, the pressure is on to beat the opposition and build a bigger bankroll.
As the rounds draw to a close, teams face the highs and lows of wealth or ruin as they see their fortunes ebb and flow.
Passions run high as the competition builds to a nail-biting climax with shrewd gamblers looking to consolidate their winnings and desperate teams risking every cent in the hope of a last gasp jackpot.
When the final round is finished and the room hushed in expectation, teams count their cash under the watchful eye of the Master of Ceremonies. Then amid the cheers and jeers of their fellow contestants, the winners make their way to the front for the victory presentation.
Your guests will be divided into an even number of teams comprising between five and eight guests, we will select games from the following to suit the room dimensions and the group size:
Table Football – A frantic game of table-top football with a bonus for the victors and nothing for the losers. Should there be a draw at full time the winner is decided with a golden goal or your money back.
Basketball Shoot Out – A skilful game of basketball with each team member seeking to shoot as many baskets as possible in a head-to-head race against the clock!
Giant Bar Skittles – A simple but tricky game as each team member seeks to knock down as many pins as possible.
Splat the Rat – A game of fast reflexes as teams try to ‘splat’ the rat with a baseball bat as it emerges at full speed from the drainpipe!
Giant Shove Halfpenny – Played on a 6′ x 3′ board with oversized coins, a game of guile, accuracy and team strategy.
Golf Putting – Played on a 15ft green, each team member has a chance to score points and earn money for their team.
Quoits – A traditional game played on a decorative backboard with accuracy and a light touch needed to throw the hoops onto the pegs.
Speed Pool – Traditional American bar game played against the clock with team members taking alternate shots complete with time penalties.
Skittle Alley – English ninepins, from which Ten Pin Bowling developed, played on a full size 20’ skittle alley.
Air Hockey – A fast and furious game with team members aiming to score by shooting the puck into their opponent’s net.
Darts – A traditional game played head-to-head with teams vying to ‘go round the clock’ in the fastest possible time or outscore an opponent head-to-head.

At the end of the action-packed programme the winnings will be counted. The team with the most money will be declared the winners, with each member of the winning team presented with a priceless “gold” medal!
