Santa’s Sleigh is a fantastic, fun filled indoor event designed to challenge teams to work together to successfully complete a project, encouraging creativity, teamwork and ultimately driving skill!
It is well proven that Formula One racers exemplify teamwork at the pit stop, where split-second precision and coordination are crucial. During a pit stop, a well-rehearsed crew of mechanics works in perfect harmony to execute tire changes and make necessary adjustments within just a few seconds.
Each team member has a specific role and their ability to work together directly impacts the performance and race outcome, where even the most skilled driver relies on the flawless execution of the pit crew to maintain a competitive edge.

From an initial brief, teams will be required to build their own sleigh using the kit provided to them. Once built, teams then race against the clock to strip and rebuild their sleighs to win points as the fastest pit crew. With the pit stop challenge complete, teams then use their creative skills to transform their sleigh using the materials provided into a work of art.
With the ultimate dream machines created, it’s time for the Moot where a pass is paramount before teams compete in various races to test their driving skills. This event is based around simple mechanics, using very simple construction techniques the teams require no automotive or engineering skills.
Engaging in simple and fun mechanics-based activities can be an excellent team-building exercise, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills amongst team members. These activities, such as Santa’s Sleigh Build encourage participants to work together toward a common goal.
As team members brainstorm, experiment and adjust their designs, they naturally develop better communication and trust. The hands-on nature of this activity also brings out the strengths of different team members, making it a fun yet impactful way to enhance teamwork and camaraderie.
