Some teams may resemble a slick ‘F1’ operation, and some teams may look like they could audition for ‘Wacky Racers’ but everyone must work together to win a place on the podium!
Involving elements of efficiency, time management, creativity and ‘driving’ skill, each team player will find an area in which to excel. From an initial briefing, teams will be required to adapt their basic chassis and create a unique and eye-catching racing kart. Using the kit provided to them, each team has the chance to build their dream ride and put it to the ultimate test in a series of fun races.
With the karts requiring a push start, there’s plenty of opportunity to use the team to your advantage, through practice races to determine the ultimate pusher/driver combo. Having passed the MOT testing stage, teams’ then put their karts to the true test! Varied races, including time trials for speed, team relay laps, slaloms and drag races, make-up the exciting racing finale to the day.

The Build And Mot: Guests will discover their basic kart kit laid out before them. Teams will design nose cones, spoilers and extras, to create a kart that stands out from the crowd. Once finished, it’s time for the MOT conducted by the mechanics, where a pass allows teams to take their karts to the track for a series of races to test their driving skills.
The Races: Once the karts have been built and customised, it is time to test them where it really matters, in the team competition! There will be a Drag Race, Relay, Slalom and Emergency Stop.
The Final: Points will be awarded to the winners and runners-up in each of these trials. Each member of every team will have the opportunity to show their prowess in the exciting races, with bonus points awarded for the most aesthetically pleasing of the vehicles. The team with the highest score are the winners!
Note: The event includes all equipment such as helmets, tools, racing kart components and event management.
