From our opulent Georgian ballroom to the to the unique Blackburn Wing, offering a treetop location reflecting the history of its namesake, Robert Blackburn, previous owner and resident of the hall. Bowcliffe’s event spaces are flexible, well equipped and impressive, to suit events of all kinds. It has been used as an event space for many years now, and has multiple areas to suit all requirements.
Our largest venue is The Bowcliffe room, which can accommodate up to 85 delegates theatre style, whilst our smallest venue, The Mercury Room, accommodates up to 8 delegates boardroom style.
We host a huge range of special events throughout the year, both indoor and outdoor, and pride ourselves on working with teams to create memorable and operationally slick events that stand out from the crowd, framed by our stunning surroundings. Whatever the event, our venue is the perfect location.
From Bowcliffe’s spectacular Georgian Ballroom to the award winning modern design of The Blackburn Wing – with the light and airy Potting Shed or the sumptuous Drivers’ Club in between – we have every option for size and style of space covered. Bowcliffe Hall is situated just off the A1, 4 miles south of Wetherby and 1 mile north of the A64.
We are close to the integral train stations, Leeds and York where taxis are easily accessible. Leeds is 13.3 miles away (24 minutes without traffic) and York is 15.5 miles away (23 minutes without traffic).
We are also situated near to a number of smaller train stations, including; Micklefield (6.6 miles), Garforth (7 miles), and Selby (18.2 miles).
Our closest airport is Leeds Bradford Airport, which is 16.9 miles away (31 minutes without traffic). You can also fly into Doncaster Sheffield Airport, which is 37.9 miles away (41 minutes without traffic).
