A stunning, historical and award-winning country house venue in Hertfordshire, Hatfield House is located just a short distance from Central London but offers all the advantages and qualities of a country venue.

With two spaces to choose from and bespoke packages on offer, it is guaranteed to fit your event needs.

Built around 1485, The Old Palace surpasses in elegance and captivating history with decorative tapestry, wooden beams and mediaeval brickwork it is sure to leave a lasting impression on your guests.

Based on Elizabethan pattern, our Knot Garden is ideal for welcome drinks and for guests to wander with Hatfield House just behind.

Meetings and Conferences

The Riding School is set in the quaint Stable Yard and just a stone throw from Hatfield Parks woodland area. Flooded with natural daylight, high ceilings and a mezzanine it is perfect setting for any occasion. The Riding School comes equipped with AV and room for breakout sessions for corporate events.

The Old Palace holds up to 250 guests, with the Riding School holding up to 180. Both venues include a private bar area and can hold multiple seating arrangements such as banqueting, cabaret, theatre and more.

Being the East of England Regional winners for ‘Wedding Venue (Historic Building) of the year 2022’ at The Wedding Industry Awards, Hatfield House is the perfect setting for your event.

Outdoor Grounds

The venue boasts an outfoot area offering vast flat open parkland. ‘The Private Lawn’ is perfect for hosting outdoor events of all sizes, including large scale events and unique exclusive use of Hatfield House itself.

You can entertain clients, teams or friends in one of our three private venues, with the help of an unbeatable location and the flexibility of using our onsite Hospitality team for catering we’ve got you covered.

Located just north of London, Hatfield House is ideally located within walking distance of Hatfield Train Station & just off both the A1 Motorway & M25.

The Visitors car park can be found at the George’s Gate, using postcode AL9 5HX for Sat Nav.
