Introduction

Knebworth House & Barns is a spectacular historic house and venue set in 250 acres of attractive parkland, dating back to 16th Century.  The historic park is home to grazing herds of deer and is complimented by formal landscaped gardens.

The romantic exterior of Knebworth House with its turrets, domes and gargoyles silhouetted against the sky does little to prepare the visitor for what to expect inside.

The Knebworth Estate is renowned for infamous music events such as Rolling Stones and Oasis, as well as being featured in many iconic films, TV Shows and Videos.

The flexible spaces, including grounds offer an ideal setting for corporate events such as meetings, conferences, awards dinners, team building and outdoor pursuits.

Meetings and Conferences

Knebworth Barns, where the past really meets the present, comprises of the 16th century Lodge and Manor Barns which sits comfortably alongside the modern, oak framed Lytton and Cobbold Barns, with their own private garden. Endlessly versatile in terms of space and adaptability, the Barns can host a variety of events, from conferences and seminars to exhibitions, awards ceremonies and corporate receptions.

Each Barn has its own dedicated entrance and is self-contained with inbuilt AV overlooking the stunning grounds, with capacities to host up to 180 for a theatre style meeting, 150 for a dinner and 200 for a drinks reception.

The enthusiastic and knowledgeable events team at Knebworth House & Barns are there to insure you have a remarkable experience throughout.

Grounds and garden events

The extensive grounds at Knebworth House & Barns lend themselves to the endless possibility and variety of ground events and team building activities.

The 250 acres of parkland is divided into different areas, including the large concert field which is overlooked by the Knebworth Barns, the North Field at the entrance to the grounds, the Mausoleum Field with views over Hertfordshire. Along with the formal gardens and dinosaur trail which lend themselves perfectly for scavenger hunts and impressive receptions.

The events held on Knebworth House grounds previously are diverse, from large concerts, filming, glamping, corporate activities and away days, the team at Knebworth House & Barns are always here to make sure we curate the perfect event for you.

Location

Knebworth House & Barns is situated near Stevenage in North Hertfordshire on the A1 Motorway. The public entrance to the Park is direct from Junction7 off the A1(M) (Stevenage South). Knebworth is easily accessible by all forms of transport from most areas of the UK, especially London (30 miles) and the whole of the South-East generally.

The nearest train station is two miles away at Stevenage (Inter-City and Network South East from Kings Cross Station) and coach services operate from London(Victoria) during the summer.

Main motorways are easily reached from Knebworth via the M25 (15 miles) and all of the main London airports are within close proximity, Heathrow (30 miles), Stansted (25 miles), Gatwick (75 miles) and Luton (15 miles).
