In small groups, participants are tasked with constructing a prosthetic hand, from scratch, that will be fitted to an amputee that has lost a limb in a developing country.

Following a powerful presentation, participants receive self-build prosthetic hand kits which include all the components needed to assemble one complete prosthetic hand, along with the necessary tools for construction.
