Inspired by worldly influences, in no time at all our team will have your guest’s energy levels soaring, a room full of smiles and your group ready for an experience to be remembered! Bemusement, disbelief and puzzled faces are apparent when your guests discover our mountain of amazing drums and percussion instruments collected from around the world.
After a tentative start our Drum Master and his team will soon have everyone ‘En Route to Rio’ as the tempo mounts and the beats merge to form an exhilarating rhythm.
Everyone will soon be on a whirlwind trip into the world of Rio where even the most musically challenged are swept along in a performance they could never imagine as they learn how to play and perform as an outrageously fun ‘Samba’ band.
After a demonstration and introduction to the instruments from our Drum Master, all guests will soon be enjoying the exciting feeling of the music and rhythm of Rio finding themselves submerged in a vibrant atmosphere and their very own samba band!
There are even options to enhance your event with the “Jingle Drums” option; guests are invited to break down into teams. Each team will then find an area to practice and devise their own rhythm before they perform their composition to the group. Involving all participants and encouraging communication and teamwork, the Drum Jingle adds an extra dimension to the ‘Road to Rio’.
You can also enhance your Road to Rio experience with our “Djembe Drums”, KDM can supply authentic 6” tall African Djembe drums as optional extras, to help your guests truly get into the swing of their musical experience! These make lovely keepsakes and can be stamped with your company logo.
PLEASE NOTE: This event is noisy!! Before confirming the booking, we will therefore liaise with the venue to obtain their confirmation that it can be undertaken without disturbing any other guests.
